Non-Porous: Unlike wood, silicone doesn't absorb flavors, oils, or colors. Your silicone spatula won't taste like last week's curry or stain from tomato sauce.

Dishwasher Safe: For busy home kitchens, this matters. Silicone utensils can go through the dishwasher without degradation.

Professional Application

In my professional kitchen experience, we used silicone for:
